Data controller/processor

For restaurant customer data, the tenant is generally the data controller and RestaurantOS acts as processor by hosting, securing, and operating the platform according to tenant instructions.

Security

RestaurantOS applies reasonable technical and organizational measures including tenant isolation, access control, audit logging, secure credential handling, upload validation, and operational monitoring.

Retention

Data is retained according to subscription status, backup cycles, legal obligations, billing needs, and customer deletion/export requests where technically and legally feasible.

Subprocessors

RestaurantOS may use subprocessors for hosting, database, storage, email, monitoring, analytics, support, and infrastructure operations. Subprocessors are used only as needed to provide the service.

Deletion/export rights

Customers may request export or deletion of tenant data, subject to authentication, legal retention, billing records, backups, abuse prevention, and technical limitations.
